  1. 2.  Group Conversation Exam (GCE) form (evaluation)


  1. •In oral communication courses, students are evaluated based, in part, on a group conversation exam (GCE). Students talk in threes for 8 minutes about two randomly-drawn topics they studied during the semester. While groups are speaking, other students use the GCE form to evaluate their classmates based on four criterion: 1) Confidence, 2) Understandability, 3) Participation, and 4) Strategies use. They also take notes to help them better consider their scores.
