COURSE GOALS

  1. 1.Confidence: Increase your confidence speaking English

  2. 2.Content: Learn how to have deeper and more meaningful conversations

  3. 3.Understandability: Become better at making yourself understood

  4. 4.Participation: Improve your ability to participate actively in conversations

  5. 5.Strategies: Learn and use conversation strategies effectively


GRADING: A+ (90~100), A (80~89), B (70~79), C (60~69), D (~59), F (1/3+ absences)

    1. 1.Attitude & participation: 20 points

    2. 2.Assignments & quizzes: 30 points

    3. 3.Three video conversations, follow-ups, and self evaluations: 30 points (10 points each)

    4. 4.Group Conversation Evaluation (GCE): 20 points

    5. 5.NOTE: Minus 5 points for each unexcused absence
