Recursive Recording of
Student Conversations (RRSCs)
Recursive Recording of
Student Conversations (RRSCs)
Recursive Recording of Student Conversations is a procedure that involves periodic audio or video recording of student conversations. RRSC is an excellent way for students to improve their language ability, especially when combined with regular preparation, recursive practice, follow-up activities (such as transcription), corrections, improvements, and self-evaluations. Longitudinal comparison of recordings can help students appreciate their progress while learning from others and helping others to learn. It is one way for students to increase their conversation skills while taking more control of their own learning.
